BOOK CLUB MEETING– We will have 2 meetings on Thurs. Oct. 25, one at 3 pm and one at 6:30 pm. People interested in forming or joining a book club can learn more about how to have a successful book club.
LASER TAG FOR ADULTS – Saturday Oct. 27, 6 to 7:30. We’ll be playing rounds inside and outside (weather permitting) – dress accordingly. Snacks will be provided. This event is for adults only. Childcare will not be provided. Please RSVP no later than Wed. Oct. 24.
TRICK OR TREAT STREET– Wednesday Oct. 31, 5-7 PM on Main Street in Valley Center. The Library will again serve candy and Monster Punch, and will sponsor costume contests.
TRIBE TEEN/TWEEN FALL PARTY AND LASER TAG– Friday Nov. 2, 6 to 7:30 pm – RSVP by Wed. Oct 31 if you will be attending this event. This event is open to youth in grades 5 through 12.
LEATHER CHRISTMAS ORNAMENT WORKSHOP – Saturday Nov. 3, 10 am – RSVP by Monday Oct. 29 to reserve your space and kit(s). Ornament kits are $3 each or 2 for $5. This event is open to anyone aged 13 through adult.
SERGEANT OF THE GUARD AT NUREMBERG – Book Talk & WWII Program by Kansas Author Jim Sharp. Sponsored by the Library & Valley Center Historical Society & Museum- Sunday Nov. 4, 2 pm in the Sunflower and Cottonwood Rooms at the new Community Center. Refreshments will be served.
