The health and safety of our patrons, volunteers and staff are a top priority. In light of recent COVID-19 developments and out of an abundance of caution, effective immediately, the City of Valley Center and the Library Board have canceled all Library activities, events and programs until further notice. We will attempt to reschedule as many events as we can for a later date.

At this time, the Library will remain open. We have increased the frequency and practice of cleaning and sanitizing. Please help us by washing hands before and after handling materials. If you have been ill, please notify staff so that we give your returns an extra-thorough cleaning. If you or a family member are ill, please stay out of the Library/Community Building. Staff will happily gather items you request and can bring them to your car when you drive up.

If you are ill or feel you cannot come in due to the COVID-19 situation, contact us to work out renewals.

Our Library Board, in conjunction with the City of Valley Center and Department of Public Safety will continue to monitor the situation and may make other decisions as needed.
