Programming for Teens & Tweens

Valley Center Public Library’s teen group, known as the TRIBE (Teens Read Interesting Books Everywhere), schedules programs during the school year as well as the summer.

Teens may participate in the Summer Reading Challenge by keeping a log of their reading times.  Logs may be picked up at the Library.  To be eligible for prizes, teens must complete a registration form, and must read a minimum of 25 hours, returning their completed logs by the specified deadline.  Teens may also opt to participate in adult reading challenges as well.

The Library has several opportunities throughout the year for teens to volunteer.  Teens must be 13 years of age or older, and must submit a volunteer application for consideration.  Contact the staff at the Library for an application if interested.
