State Library of Kansas eAudioBooks is changing to a new platform
Many of our library patrons enjoy downloading audiobooks from the State Library of Kansas collection with the RBDigital app. Please note that due to recent changes with the RBDigital Media Company, some titles will soon no longer be available, and the app and website will be discontinued. An agreement between the State Library of Kansas and the cloudLibrary platform will allow for as much existing content as possible to be transferred to cloudLibrary on December 2, 2020.
The cloudLibrary platform is user-friendly and is similar to RBDigital, giving users the ability to place holds, search genres, set sleep timers, and receive reading recommendations. As with RBDigital, patrons will need a current Kansas Library ecard to borrow materials from cloudLibrary. It’s free to get a card and unlike RGDigital, there are no separate registrations required to access the collection. You only need your State Library eCard number and password. The link: State Library of Kansas eLending, contains helpful information about the transfer, and about exporting your checkouts, history, holds and wishlists. To request or update your Kansas Library ecard, please contact the Valley Center Public Library.
