Story Time cancellation
Due to the high numbers of COVID in our schools, and by extension, in families with school aged and younger children, we will not be having Story Times the January 31. We apologize for any inconvenience, however, the safety of our patrons is our highest priority! It is our plan to have Story Times start up again the week of Feb. 7, however, please watch this web site or our Facebook page for further information. Everyone over the age of 2 should mask up, and we will do our best to socially distance. Also, going forward if there are no attendees for Story Time by 10:40 am on Story Time days, we will cancel for that day.
Update: we will have Story Times at our regular times beginning again the week of Feb. 7. Adults and children of the appropriate ages should wear masks, and everyone should practice social distancing. Thanks!
Kansas Day Quiz Bowl
January 29 is Kansas Day!
Be sure to check out our Kansas Day display window in the foyer of the Library/Community Center. Items are from the private collection of Nancy Anderson.
The Valley Victors 4-H Club has once again compiled questions for our virtual Kansas Day Quiz Bowl. Play along with us during the week of Jan. 24. Five questions will appear on the Library Facebook page each morning, Monday through Saturday. Post your answers in the comments section, and we will post the correct answers at 6 pm each day. How well do you know your Kansas facts and history? (Not a formal contest. No prizes will be awarded. We hope you have fun playing!)
