Free Virtual Class for Adults/Teens: Civics for Adults–Representation, Our Federal Government and the Constitution

Who? You and anyone else interested in this topic!

What? A virtual workshop exploring our U.S. Constitution.

When? January 22nd at 6 PM CST

Where? It’s virtual so wherever you choose!

Why? We’ll trace the history of our constitution and explore it’s limitations. “Every citizen should take this serious look at our Constitution.”

“Soup-er Bowl” 2026

Free hot sour vegetable soup

Bring in your donation of canned, bagged or boxed soup or crackers

before 1 PM on Feb. 7

and we will waive $1 in fines for each donated item (does not apply to other Library fees).  You can bring in donations even if you don’t have fines.  Items will be donated to the Community Center’s VC Food Donation Box.

Items must be:

Unopened, undamaged, not expired or homemade

No Ramen please

Closed Sundays and major holidays

Inclement Weather Policy: If USD262 Valley Center Public Schools declare a closure or an “at home learning day” due to weather, or if the Library Director/Library Board feels the weather is dangerous, the Library will be closed that day as a safety precaution.
